EverSystem adds two external advisors (Jim Maricondo, Ex-ConsenSys and Makoto Ota, IOST Foundation), to strengthen implementation of blockchain technology in society and its overseas business

Providing a blockchain technology workshop at ＂FUTURE OF HOSPITALITY SUMMIT ＂in Switzerland

With IOST Foundation’s Japan team, EverSystem has been holding workshops at universities in Japan since 2018, providing basic knowledge of blockchain technology, in total at five educational institutions including National Institute of Technology and educating over 150 students for free. The achievement has developed into a “Free Blockchain Education Program” for educational institutions announced by the IOST Foundation (Japan).

The theme of this year’s hospitality technology and innovation event hosted annually by LES ROCHES (Switzerland) is “FUTURE OF HOSPITALITY SUMMIT”. LES ROCHES ranks among the top three universities in the world for hospitality (* 1) and produces management classes active in every industry. The fifth edition of FHS, will be held at LES ROCHES (Switzerland) for three days from October 18 to 20, 2019. Thanks to an offer from the Les Roche FHS19 executive committee to the IOST Foundation (Japan), EverSystem, a partner of the free education program, was invited to participate in this year’s event.

<Introducing Strategic Growth Advisors>

With our new management team structure in July this year, we are now focusing on implementing our knowledge of blockchain R&D in society. In addition, we are strengthening our research and development activities with overseas companies. To create a strong development environment where we can start many blockchain projects in Japan, we invited two experts as external advisors who have abundant business experience in the world, and who have been actively involved in blockchain technology education and general activities.

Pioneering Dapp development on the IOST platform
EverSystem is one of the very first block producer nodes, supporting the ecosystem starting with the test net v2.0 (Everest), an IOST pre-main net launched in January 2019.

In April 2019, with technical support from the IOST / IOS Foundation engineers, the IOST platform released the IOST version of the first full-chain Dapp game “Crypto Ninja”. Our representative, Dr. Wada, will be giving a presentation on details of next-generation blockchain game development this year at the biggest game developer conference in Japan, CEDEC. This marks the second consecutive year he has presented at CEDEC, following his 2018 presentation about the Ethereum version of “Crypto Ninja”.

<Advantages of the IOST platform, Dr. Wada, CEO, comments>

We previously release the Ethereum version of this Dapp, but there was a mining cost for each play, which the player was forced to pay. On the other hand, the IOST version can be played with only a small IOST deposit, greatly improving the user experience of the user.

Furthermore, IOST has a fast transaction processing speed. Ethereum was slow, taking tens of seconds, but now the program for the IOST blockchain can write results to the blockchain within a few seconds. Since it is based on JavaScript and can be described more flexibly and freely than Solidity in Ethereum, the process of purchasing assets with original token (in-game currency) can be described in a natural way, and as a result it also became possible to make a simpler program.
